Our Bodies Never Lie

Those of you who have been in my treatment room know that our bodies have a tremendous amount of wisdom and no matter what, our bodies never lie. Through Five Element Acupuncture our bodies use the language of nature to provide tools for our health and growth. I have attempted to distill some of these gifts in this report.

There are 2 sections here. Section One lists neutralizing factors. In Section One, look up the element that you chose previously–FIRE, EARTH, METAL, WATER, WOOD. Review the suggestions and choose a few of the most difficult ones to implement.

Here is an example. A client chose the METAL element. After reviewing the list he chose to “relate to others strongly” and “create connect between people.” He seized every opportunity. Hugs were abundant. Listening became a passion. Doing small but thoughtful things for others were an emphasis. Really considering the impact of his words became important. And can you believe it, the Support that was needed happened (Earth), the creativity started flowing (Wood), the acknowledgement that was lacking started happening (Metal), the insomnia yielded to sound sleep (Water)…. No kidding. Try it for yourself .

  1. Find the element you chose in SECTION ONE in the list below. Then go to Step 3. If you couldn’t figure out your element, go to step 2.
  2. Go to the diagram at the end, use the more detailed list. Check off all the characteristics that apply in each element. See which element has the most checks, has the most dramatic checked items OR just resonates with you. Now, choose an element and go to Step 3. You can do it, just choose one.
  3. Look at the list in SECTION ONE and select 1-3 suggestions that you definitely do NOT do.
  4. Start doing them… a lot.
  5. If you have a great story, or get an ah-ha moment, please send me a note.
  6. ENJOY!
